Very boring road. Turns are constantly repeated and quickly get tired. I drove along this road for 2 hours and regretted that if you need to the north of the island, it is better to go by highway. On TF28 boring. More loss of strength
Certainly worth driving with a bike. In this area there are routes for one whole day to enjoy. Some of them you have to drive twice because there is no return through another road.
Very good choise to drive for a lunch in one of the small villages. Route is spactaculous - perhaps the best scnery in Tenerife. And there are lots of nice roads for bikers on the island!
Nice view, the roads from this road are worth visiting...
This is a spectacular route. Most people go to Tenerife and ride around El Teide volcano area. I did the same and for good reason. It is georgious there. It is easy to miss out on the northern part of the island because it is overshadowed by El Teide. Dont let this happen to you. The twisties are incredible in the northern part and the roads are very good. However, because of occasional rock slides you need to be alert to the possibilty of sand on the road which is almost nothing but corners. I have literally been all around the world I and I can say this is in the top 10, or maybe even 5, places I have seen. The scenery it well above par and the surface very nice.
Amazing roads amazing views, well work bike hire and going around the whole island but this road does stand out also the mountain roads are fantastic.
Great Moutain section that is a main road by Tenerife's standards, therefore surface is very good and there is even a decent run off area for some sections. Check out the camel park on the the way down the mountain!
Unbelievably Volcanic Landscape that climbs from sea-level at Las Americas up to about 2200m in the middle of the Island. Good road surface and great climate and fantastic geological volcanic make this a great route. Very popular with bikers who are all very friendly around here. Highly recommended
