A nice alternative to driving US 12 between Chehalis and Morton. There´s not a lot of traffic and some good scenery of woods and farms. As you near the town of Morton the road narrows a bit and goes through some deep woods and along the Tieton River. There are a few nice corners. If you got a GS bike there are lots of opportunities to explore gravel roads into the National Forest. But beware many of these NF roads are not maintained and can be quite rough.
