Prague to Lipno Lake

This is a nice weekend ride starting in Prague travel down all the quiet country roads to the largest lake in the Czech Republic which also forms the boundry with Austria. You will pass through Pisek which has the oldest stone bridge in Europe. Some of the roads are more like a racetrack with all the other bikers so be warned as the road camber changes a lot.
Lipno is a great lake for swimming or relaxing beside, with lots of hotels, great restaurants and bars or why not take a boat tour and have lunch on the boat. Lipno has lots of hotels and campsites right beside the lake. Spend the night at Lipno and take a different route home the next day.
Lipno is in the Southern skiing area of Czech Republic located in a national park with great scenery and areas to explore. It is a good central location for touring this area and venturing into Austria or Germany so you can visit 3 countries in one morning.
