This 237km loop route starts at Marysville, about 100kms North East of Melbourne (although it can be joined at any convenient point on the loop). It first takes a path north towards Lake Eildon National Park and Taylor Bay before snaking through to Jamieson, Gaffney’s Creek and Cambarville. The routes combines a number of local favourite route for bikers so you’ll earn that cold drink at the Café! The whole route travels through an area of outstanding natural beauty and you can also find interesting historical artefacts to stop and look at on the way as well as some simply stunning views. This route is suitable for all bikes but is a good choice for sportier bikes.
What a great ride-the road condition is some of the best i have ridden on-smooth but grippy with some leaves and small sticks and the occasional 4WD in the middle of the corner but importantly, consistent with virtually no holes or brakes. Midweek in spring-it doesn`t get any better!
